Christmas Aftermath

Christmas blew in like freaking Katrina leaving a debris of dead trees, busted up wrappings, and way too many boxes for some poor schmuck to pick up on trash day. Then like the morning after pill, people rushed to their bankers only to give up more of tomorrows cash in deposits just to cover their assets because their spent way too much again. Everybody might as well walk around with stamped letters on their chests saying everybody'z crazy (me included).

Why is it that we get so crazy spending money we generally don't have during this particular holiday? Is it generosity? conditioning? guilt? or just plain insanity? Tell me which actually is it? And even when you say to yourself no more triple gifting, extra tipping, over feast preparing, or Times Square decorating, come next year when the holiday rolls around, people gets crazy. So, there we spend - again. Like I said before and I'll say it again, we all should wear letters written in front of our chests saying everybody'z crazy (me included). What's up?
